  1. It seems that the post it is omnipotent! Good video, and I really like the music you attached to your video. Classical right?
While I was watching your video, I thought that the conduct that people looks for more ways to use an object is actually a process of re-creating it. We make things more useful than before expected by developing more ways to use it. The designer may never thought about thus many ways to use the post it. The users do a better job on understanding the functions of an engineered object. It's the users who know about the advantages and disadvantages of an object by using it and comparing it to other objects. So, it's very important for a designer to keep tracking of their products after releasing them into the market. Because the customers really can give them good feedback on what they should improve in the future and what they should keep.
Have you ever found the shortcomings of post it? Do you think the problem can be fixed by incorporating a better design in the future? If you can include these stuffs into your video, it will make your video even a better one.

  2. I absolutely love your video. It is what inspired me to blog about duct tape. So thank you for the inspiration.
I never new there where so many uses for post-it notes. I really like all of the web pages and articles in the video which talked about the thousands of uses for the tiny sticky pieces of paper. Something I never thought about before is the fact that I think people over look the usefulness of the post-it note. I can't say I see them used very often or even notice when they are used. But because there are so many different uses it surprises me that everybody doesn't have stacks of them in their house or on their desk.
One question I did have is about you ideas to improve or change the design. I feel like the answer to that question was embedded in the video but I could not exactly pick it out even thought I watched your video multiple times. Do you feel that post-its need to be changed or enhanced in some way? Or are they good the way they are already? I can't really personally think of a way to change them because they can already to some many things already. But I bet everything can be improved in some way, that is why I would love to hear your ideas to the post-it of the future.

  3. I think the idea is absolutely amazing! I personally LOVE Post Its and I think you did an amazing job with the video.
I think the video brings out the very simple uses of post its. And looking at all of them, I think people will realize how easily we overlook the obvious things in applications of so many things. Also, I think it emphasizes how different users improvise engineered objects that are meant to be used in a primitive way.

I think the downfall of the video is that it did not provide any improvisation on the application of post its. Neither did it mention any of the disadvantages of using them.

  4. Clever video, I liked it! I liked how you merged your live video with youtube videos and then with screen captures. I was wondering though, what program do you use to capture your screen? I have been trying to find one that doesn’t have a watermark on it. I totally agree with you that post it notes have pretty much endless amounts of uses, which is a good thing. It’s something very simple that has changed the world. It’s hard to improve on the post it note. It’s really the fact that is so simple that makes it so popular.
